On the frontier between Hip Hop and contemporary dance, between the street and the stage, anchored in the present and turned towards the future.

The Detours Festival is a unique adventure, a pioneer, a real laboratory of social experimentation in the heart of Europe. Offering high quality shows, it gives its letters of nobility to urban arts. It links, thanks to a common code, understood by all, very different components of the population. It is at the same time a springboard for creations in progress, a showcase for accomplished works and a vector of social cohesion through its free street activities.

Its resolutely interdisciplinary programming is declined between creations in urban dance, music, performances and street art. For the past 11 years, it has offered a new look at urban culture.

Concerned with having a real impact on today’s society, it meets its audience where they are: in the street! He calls passers-by to discover their own creativity. By opening the doors of theaters to the street, it allows new generations to reappropriate cultural venues.

Since 2015, the festival’s programming extends throughout the summer with the Detours Cyphers which take place every Wednesday in front of the Bourse.
